Add a touch of character to your Christchurch conference, dinner, celebration, meeting or other event by holding it at Eliza's Manor on Bealey.  As an historic classic hotel on the edge of the Christchurch CBD, Eliza's Manor on Bealey offers a truly unique functions venue for that special occasion. 

From private dinners for a minimum of 24, conferences, theatre style presentations and cocktail parties -  our Christchurch functions venue is able to meet a wide range of needs.  There is free off street parking and accommodation is available for out of town delegates.

Room Hire Rates

There is no room hire for dinner functions, provided the meal chosen is a minimum of $45 per head and there are at least 24 dinner guests. 

Room hire rates for conferences, meetings, presentations and training sessions depend upon the amount of preparation and the duration of the event.  This can range from $75 for part of a day for a small conference through to $350 for the full day using our full facilities.  Our staff will discuss your needs with you and find the most cost effective way in which to help you.

Payment Policy

Normally a deposit of $250 is required to confirm a booking.  In the event of a cancellation a refund of the deposit will only be made if the venue can be rebooked for the same period.

For dinner bookings the amount charged will be the greater of the number attending or the number booked.  A single invoice will be issued for a dinner and a single payment is required, individual payments per person can not be accepted.

Technical Equipment

We are able to arrange the hire of a wide range of conference technical equipment by prior arrangement.  This will be on charged to you.

Our in-house chef will cater for your every need.  Again our staff will discuss with you the wide range of options available from morning tea, lunch and dinner.  We will provide a list of options from which you can choose your own menu.

Alcohol

We are fully licensed and carry a range of New Zealand and regional wines, beers, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages.  Only beverages provided by Eliza's Manor on Bealey are able to be consumed on the premises.  If you have a special preference we will endeavour to source it for you.  In the case where all the accommodation has been booked in asscoiation with the event, then the finishing time can be extended to 12:30am.

Finishing time

Due to the fact that Eliza's Manor on Bealey provides accommodation we need to minimise any avoidable disturbances to house guests.  Alcohol will cease to be served at 11pm.  All music or other loud activity must also stop then.  All guests will be required to leave the premises by midnight. 

Smoking 

Eliza's Manor on Bealey is a totally smoke free environment. 

In line with New Zealand legislation and for the health and comfort of our guests and staff, smoking is not permitted in the building, courtyard or outside areas adjacent to the front door and courtyard entrances.
